Thank-you, that was a great sequence. Your instructions were clear and helpful. I was able to do more than I thought I was able. What a beautiful way to start the day, finding balance!
Rheumatoid arthritis is painful with quick movements. The slow, long held poses are perfect for exercise and focus. Thank you Sarah! I loved it. Please do more !
Sharon,
thanks for practicing and watching us on Yogatoday!
The good news for you is that the Ujjai breathing we
practice in asana helps alleviate Rheumatoid arthritis
as the breathing produces synovial fluid which ‘oils’
your painful joints!
I thought a whole class of balancing poses would be boring, but not at all! I really enjoyed this session, and it was good to practice some less common poses that I don’t normally include in my practice. Good for a less strenuous exercise session.
Kartika,
You bring up a great point in that we sometimes
‘assume’ being still, say in balancing poses
may be boring yet this is when the work can
‘really’ happen. For instance we can go inwards and focus on our drishti (gaze), our
sounding breath and applying our locks!
Being still can be so dynamic!
Isn’t the majority of this balancing series exactly the jivamukti balancing series. It is identical to Sharon Gannon’s jivamukti balancing series from her CD/DVD up until you stand on the block. I only think it is fair to give credit.
This practice felt great. I only made it half way through before my computer froze, but I am going to try it again tonight!
This was amazing! thanks! I loved it!!
What program does your free videos run on. I am not able to start it. Thanks!

Love the variety here. I feel strong, yet serene.
That was a wonderful, fun sequence that allowed me to surprise myself. Thank you!

Love this sequence. I found it on youtube and often come back to it when I’m feeling a bit all-over-the-show.
