i love this session. i thought the comment/tip about her left hamstring being tighter than her right and what to do about it was good. however, that would have been handy on the first pose. more tips like that (i.e., taking it easy as you develop the pose) are extremely helpful to me and i’d like to see more. as someone who’s learning, i struggle with some of the terminology, so close up shots of what it means to “turn the sit bones in”, etc. would be helpful. nice session though!
denacho,
thank you for watching and practicing with us on Yogatoday!
Yes i agree that the comment would have been handy first
time around, thanks. The sitz bones are those bony protrusions
in either buttock. You can take either hand and bring the fleshy
bit of your buttocks towards one another thus ‘turning them in’.
thanks for your support

Sarah- Thanks so much for these mini-sessions!! They save my day and sanity! Just long enough to do what I need for my body and for the kids to play by themselves or join me. Happy Fall!
Kathleen
I also haven’t been able to access the quicktime format videos. I’ve downloaded and installed everything I can from quicktime. Is the hoped for technical assistance available yet?
@ Susan –> the blog entries are also available at youtube, where they are accessable
@ Denacho –> In previous posts all the terms are explained. Sometimes you just want to get going, and then this is a really cool video ;)
Thanks Sarah! This was just what I needed for a monday morning. I too have a tight left hamstring, and this class helped a lot! Loved the sun salutations!
Sarah, love the variety of this website. So many terrific blogs to choose from. The blogs make it possible for me to practice yoga more frequently when I’m short on time and I really enjoy the hour long classes when I do have the time. Could never afford all of these yoga classes at a studio. Thanks for this amazing website. It is truly a gift.
What a great way to get some heat going on a cold winter morning out here in Tokyo… thanks. More more more sessions like this please!!! 20 mins, 40 mins… so I dont get that ”I have to do 1 hour” feeling every day!!!
thank you!!!
Dave
Hi Dave,
good for you for praciticing more and realizing that shorter, more frequent sessions
are more beneficial than one hour a month!
You can always begin the hour class, pause it
as needed and finish it at the end of the day!
thanks for watching and practicing.
Thank you Sarah! I adore every session you instruct. This is just perfect for a busy Mom who just has a few minutes in the evening to practice. My warmest wishes to you!
Thnx Sarah for this wonderful short lesson! Truly love your sessions, especially the Kundalini ones. Some variation in practice is fantastic and the effect superb… Thanks again.

Thank you so much, Shiela for the information about youtube! Finally, I was able to view this class.
I like these shorter 20-30 minute classes, because I don’t always have time or energy for an hour or more.
Thanks Sarah! This was just what I needed for a monday morning. I too have a tight left hamstring, and this class helped a lot! Loved the sun salutations!
Can’t watch it cuz quick time– but have enjoyed other videos!

Thank you Sarah for sharing this routine with us. I totally agree with the others, it is a great way to start the day. Namaste.
Sarah, I love the way you mix it up in your sessions. Thank you, as I found this helpful in waking up my messy lower back.
