A Bedtime Wind Down

A good night’s sleep is such a treat for both mind and body. But sometimes before a big important day, or after a busy one, your physical being can have trouble slowing down and slipping into that oh-so-desirable dreamy state. Try this calming practice of simple stretching and breathing exercises to wind down and relax for a restful evening. Sweet dreams!

Lower your blood pressure, curb stress, and bring balance to both sides of your brain in this breathing sequence with Adi. The practice is called Nadi Shodhana Pranayama and translates to “channel cleaning.” Try it out and let the layers of stress and anxiety peel away.

Once again Yogatoday is joined by Olympic ski racer Resi Stiegler and professional snowboarder Rob Kingwill. With their help Sarah Kline takes us through a fantastic set of stretches to help us cool down after a long day on the slopes.

Neesha Zollinger explains the basics of how to fix those detested sore knees.  Starting with the feet and working our way up.  Stacking bone on bone for proper alignment, greater motion and more flexibility.
