Green Smoothie

Green smoothies really allow you to pack a ton on nutrients into one glass….supplements, superfood powders, greens, goji berries, seeds, nuts – whatever your body needs, you can pretty much guarantee you’ll find it in a green smoothie. Here’s one specific recipe that been dialed in for the fall.

Ingredients

1 c .romaine lettuce
1⁄2 apple
2 T .chia seeds
2 t ginger root
1 T .goji berries
3 dates (pitted)
2 T .almonds (soaked)
3 c .water (use more or less for desired thickness)

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients into a blender.
  2. Add stevia for more sweetness or spice for more pep.
